The story to REWIRED...
November 2007: After 22+ years, the musical entity known as Anthrophobia was retired. A gathering of current and past band members celebrated our creative and performing time together one last time. We truly believed that was it, the end of the story. It was time, life was full of other great things to experience and we had no regrets. We went out on a high note and on our own terms. Brent Black, Eric Bess, Joe Donato and I reunited a few times to perform short sets at events benefiting things that hit close to home and we somehow never lost a step. Drummer friends, Stoyer and Bryan Ross joined me, Brent, and Eric for some jam sessions around Spring of 2013 just for kicks. Spontaneously, Brent and I did a few one night only / super group type projects that were a really good time through the retirement years too.
August 2013: A song was recorded for a tribute CD to Philly Punk Legends, RUIN, placing me in the studio together with founding '80's members Steve Kasper, Shawn Ganter + 'Phobia Family members Dickie Delp, Brent Black, and long time friend Rob DiJoseph. The results were glorious. Co-founder, Jon Starks, even showed up to hang out! The rejuvenated, creative energy resulted in the decision to spend a year writing, recording, and releasing 'ENDGAME' in 2014, by the 4 Founding Fathers of Anthrophobia to celebrate our Punk Rock inspired roots of what would have been the 30th year of the fear. I'm very proud of that record, give it a listen!
January, 1st 2015: Brent Black, Eric Bess, and I invited our longtime friend and younger brother, the super talented, Jared Piccone, to rock out at Akdar Studios on riff ideas for fun, including a song Tucker Stewart wrote for us, years prior that he never shared with us until 2014. The chemistry and results of those sweaty hours in the room together were beyond our wildest expectations. We had no plans to perform live or be a band again, but, it happened, here we are, balancing life and this creative, fun, gratifying outlet called Anthrophobia. Dickie is back playing drums with me after a 21 year hiatus and has been a perfect addition to the chemistry, bond, and respect Brent, Eric, and I have for each other and Anthrophobia. The 13 years spent with Joe Donato on the drums in this band do not go unnoticed. He is still in the family, doing well and will always be a part of us and our history. We collectively appreciate, cherish, and honor this chapter of the legacy of this band. We don't know where it's all going or why, we are just along for the ride. Just like we now view our lives, we do not take any of this for granted and want to thank all of you for being a part of it. We are here again to bring the ROCK and turn it up a notch. Here's to making more great music and memories. - Frank Phobia (January 2016)

The initial collaborative creative forces of Eric Bess, Brent Black and Jared Piccone wrote the first versions of 'Dirty', 'Sleep Disorder', and 'Buzzkiller'. They were later slapped into the final arrangements and structures by input from Dickie Delp and Frank Phobia. The music for ‘Below The Surface’ was written by Tucker Stewart. Rearranged and tweaked by Anthrophobia. ‘Rewired’ and ‘They Eat Their Young’ were written by Eric Bess, Brent Black, and Dickie Delp. As expected, Frank Phobia wouldn't let anyone else write the lyrics, he's to solely blame or take credit for the words of these songs.
